Nightingale Energy, has announced its new energy pledge for homes and businesses across North West England. The new initiative pledges to provide Solar PV installs for the next five years with 0% VAT, in the hopes that they can make renewable energy more accessible for people in the UK.
Due to the recent rise in wholesale gas prices, UK homes have seen a huge increase in their energy bill. With the cost of living already on the rise, this is of major concern as families continue to struggle. According to the BBC, we’ll be seeing an average increase of £693 for around 18 million households across the UK.
Not only will Nightingale Energy’s new initiative help families source more affordable energy investments, but the company also predicts that by making solar power more accessible, it will also encourage families and UK businesses to finally switch to renewable energy.
