SSE Enterprise Energy Solutions now has six services listed on the £2bn government-led framework.

Public sector organisations are to benefit from fast access to cost-saving energy data services, as SSE Enterprise Energy Solutions announces its inclusion on the G-Cloud 12 framework.

For the first time, SSE Enterprise’s Business Energy Intelligence (BEI) platform will be included in the framework’s cloud software category, providing public sector organisations with access to a cloud-based energy visualisation platform that supports real time decision making.

Chris Wilson, Energy Optimisation Manager at SSE Energy Solutions, said: “Our inclusion on the G-Cloud 12 framework will allow us to continue to support public sector organisations with agile and cost-effective energy management.

“By giving organisations greater access to their energy data, our platforms can help identify significant potential energy savings.”

In total, six services from SSE Enterprise Energy solutions are being made available through the 12th iteration of the procurement portal, including alarm management platform Condor, setpoint and timings module Compliance, automated Plant Exercise Routine, Diary Management and remote Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).

Many of these services benefit from remote-check capabilities, helping to reduce maintenance touch-points and the need for building managers or engineers to physically attend a site. With the potential likelihood of further restrictions relating to Covid-19, this feature will be key to ensuring that a building estate’s energy use can be effectively and safely managed over winter.

Co-ordinated by the Crown Commercial Service, the G-Cloud framework enables public sector organisations – such as local authorities, hospitals or universities – to access the latest government-approved cloud software and services. By eliminating the requirement for an open tender process, businesses can pivot providers at pace using fewer resources.
