NEMEX, the live event of choice for innovative and efficient energy management, has unveiled an enhanced seminar programme alongside world-class exhibitor innovations. With energy efficiency an overriding concern for organisations of all sizes and across every sector, the seminars will address the latest sustainability policy and practice, and provide practical examples of how to benefit from innovations in energy procurement, energy recovery and energy management.

The NEMEX seminars will present a number of compelling case studies that will provide visitors with the opportunity to learn how to make their organisation more energy efficient. One of the highlights at the free-to-attend event, which is being held at Birmingham’s NEC, is a speaker panel session entitled ‘What will it take to keep the lights on?’ Chaired by Ellen Bennet, Editor of Utility Week, the panel includes Lawrence Slade, COO of Energy UK; Gaynor Hartnell, Former Chief Executive of Renewable Energy Association; and Keith McLean, Policy and Research Director at Scottish Southern Energy.
“The NEMEX event offers something for everyone along the supply chain, from practical and interactive innovations showcased in our exhibition hall to dynamic and theoretical discussions within our seminars,” continues Copeland. “Energy efficiency is always high on the agenda for UK businesses, but the commercial, environmental, regulatory and political drivers in the UK today mean intelligent energy management has become vital.”
The NEMEX exhibition will also showcase companies and organisations including Siemens, BSI Group, and the Energy Institute. Meanwhile, the seminar programme will include over 80 leading industry speakers from across the country in two new three-day seminar programmes within NEMEX’s Energy Theatres.
NEMEX, co-located with IWEX and ENERGY RECOVERY as part of Sustainability Live from 1st to 3rd April 2014, will welcome over 7,000 attendees, 82 per cent of which have expressed an interest in energy management and energy efficiency innovations and services.
