Energys Group, a firm specialising in energy efficient retro-fit technologies, has recently announced a partnership with Utility Aid which will enable charities and third sector organisations to reduce their energy costs.

As a result of the partnership, customers of Utility Aid, which is a full service utility consultancy which specialises in driving down the cost of energy for charities and not for profit organisation, will be able to benefit from a range of services designed to cut costs and reduce CO2 – including a free energy savings audit.

Delivered through Energys Group, multi-layered levels of support are available through the partnership. Services range from a free energy audit (which will assess potential savings from boiler controls, energy efficient lighting, voltage optimization, compressed air leakage surveys, guidance on the selection of appropriate energy saving technologies, and the installation and maintenance of these technologies.

Energys is also able to provide Utility Aid customers with an ‘off balance sheet’ funding/leasing scheme designed to help charities fund the purchase of new and energy efficient equipment. This funding scheme requires no capital investment and allows the organisation to pay for the equipment from the energy savings achieved.

A range of energy efficient retro-fit technologies are available from Energys as part of the scheme. This includes the Save It Easy patented plug in adapter which allows users to replace old style fluorescent lamps with energy efficient equivalents.

Other retro-fit technologies such as voltage optimisation and boiler controls are also available.
