Energy firm Solarlec has been announced as a Carbon Trust accredited supplier of renewable solutions for another 12 months.

Based in Burnley, Carlisle and Exeter with installers and energy advisors nationwide, Solarlec says this latest recognition from the Carbon Trust is proof of the fantastic work they are completing in helping homes and businesses to adopt greener energy solutions.

Geoff Smyth, head of technology at the Carbon Trust, said: “Solarlec is accredited in recognition of their track record in designing and delivery high quality energy efficient biomass, solar PV and solar thermal solutions.”

The Carbon Trust’s accredited supplier scheme is a quality standard which recognises high quality suppliers and is verified by independent sources.

Suppliers must meet stringent criteria to demonstrate their capability to deliver well designed and efficient renewable energy solutions.

What’s more, only Carbon Trust accredited suppliers earn a coveted spot in the Green Business Directory.

Ged Rowbottom, director at Solarlec, said: “The Carbon Trust is a leading industry body and as such this ongoing recognition is the highest praise we could receive for our hard work and dedication to supplying first class renewable systems to homes and businesses.

“Being a Carbon Trust accredited supplier also enables us to offer business customers funding through the Siemens Energy Efficiency Financing Fund, which can make renewable systems cash neutral from day one.”
