The annual Energy Institute (EI) Awards were recently held in London to recognise innovation and excellence amongst individuals and organisations working in the global energy sector.

Sarah Beacock FEI, professional affairs director at the Energy Institute, commented, “Congratulations to all the winners to this year’s EI Awards, but also to all those who entered. We broke the record of entries since the launch of the competition back in 1999 and their quality made judging particularly challenging. This is why so many nominations are also being highly commended.”

Beacock continued, “The energy sector is dynamic and forward thinking, and these awards provide industry with an opportunity to recognise and reward organisations and individuals who demonstrate such dynamism and forward thinking on a daily basis. We thank all the participants for the important contribution they make to the energy sector and, by extension, to society.”

The winners were selected as best in their category from a panel of judges representing all areas of the energy sector.
