Manufacturer Bosch Commercial and Industrial Heating has extended its range of heating and hot water technologies with the launch of a new steel hot water boiler with outputs ranging from 420kW to 1,850kW.

The Bosch Uni 3000 F high efficiency boiler boasts reverse flame technology, helping to deliver efficiencies of up to 93 per cent (NCV), and is ideally suited to systems requiring a peak load boiler, such as district heating schemes, that can incorporate a condensing base load boiler or Combined Heat and Power (CHP) module. Alternatively, the Bosch Uni 3000 F can be used as a direct replacement for incumbent standard or high efficiency installations.

The Uni 3000 F is compatible with gas or oil burners to EN676 and EN267 standards and can also be utilised in applications using Dual Fuel, LPG or Biogas. In addition, the boiler is approved for operation at a maximum operating pressure of six bar and is certified under the Pressure Equipment Directive for applications requiring up to 105oC (maximum safety temperature 120°C).

Geoff Hobbs, business development director at Bosch Commercial and Industrial Heating, said: “The new Uni 3000 F is a great extension of our product portfolio. Bosch quality standards are reflected in the design and manufacture of the Uni 3000 F. With installation ease maximised and all relevant accessories available, the contractor is at the heart of the design concept.”
